The social groups develop participants’ social and life skills, support emotional regulation and help them make and build meaningful friendships.

We provide individualised support by getting to know our participants and learning how best to support them, providing safe, fun and supported experiences.

Based in Sydney’s beautiful Sutherland Shire – with our Epic Centre located in Caringbah, we provide individualised support by getting to know our participants and learning how best to support them, providing safe, fun and supported experiences. 

ABBEY

Abbey has worked as a Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist in Neurosurgical, Neurological and Orthopedic Nursing at Sydney Children’s Hospital for 9 years. She has cared for children and adolescents with complex health issues, including mental health disorders, disabilities, medical conditions and specialised care needs.

She has compassionately supported children whose complex health care needs have impacted their confidence, social skills, growth, and development. Abbey also has extensive experience in paediatric allergy and immunology nursing, providing care and education to children and their families.

ALANA

Alana has worked as Special Education Teacher for over 16 years. She has worked in SSP schools and Support Units in primary and high school settings. Alana has a passion for helping young people with disabilities reach their potential.

She has assisted children with autism, intellectual disabilities, behaviour difficulties, hearing impairment and emotional disturbances in meeting their educational, interpersonal, behavioural and emotional goals. Alana has developed, implemented and monitored individual and group programs for students with disabilities which broadened their social capabilities and assisted and prepared them for successful integration into the community and the workplace.
